Thai Airways International flight 311

31 July 1992 Thai airways flight 311 is departing for Kathmandu Nepal from Bangkok Thailand. Their are a total of 99 passengers and 14 crew. The captain is Preeda Sttimai and first officer Phunthat Boonyayei. After filling up the fuel the plane took off. As Thai flight 311 leaves Thailand  many passengers are looking forward to Katmandu's mountains because there plane will now cross the Himalayas.  As the plane fly's over the clouds, it is sunny. The passengers can see the mountain tops, then Katmandu orders Thai flight 311 to start its dissent into Katmandu. Then Thai flight 311 started its dissent as the plane was descending, the plane was now entering clouds. Then the plane was given clearance for landing at Tribhuvan airport on runway 02. The pilots found out that their planes flaps were malfunctioning so the plane was asked to land in Calcutta airport in India. The controller at Katmandu ordered the plane to turn. Helios flight 552

14 August 2005 Helios airways flight 552 is departing to Prague  Czech Republic from Larnaca Cyprus with a stop at Athens Greece airport.   The pilots who were flying the plane were Hans-jurgen a 59 year old German and the first officer was Pampos Charalambous. The plane is a Boeing 737-31S. There are a total of 155 passengers and 6 crew.  When the plane was clear for take off , plane took off . 1hour later. oxygen masks fell because the cabin became de-pressurized because one of the doors wasn't closed properly. Everyone put on there masks. 2 minutes later everyone fainted including the pilot. But the plane was still in the air on auto pilot. Two fighter jets are on one side of the plane, they are watching as the plane is going. Then both fighter jets run out of fuel and go back. However two flight attendants are sill conscious. The Story of Air India

Do you know the story behind the iconic airline of India? This story will tell you about how Air India was created.          On October 15th, 1932, JRD. Tata Indias first licensed pilot founded the airline Tata air Mail . Its first flight was from Karachi-Ahmedabad-Mumbai. The flight was piloted by Tata himself and the aircraft was a single engine puss moth aircraft. The flight usually took about 8 hours because the planes could only fly at 50mph. After a year the airline changed its name to Tata airlines then after India's Independence the airline was renamed into Air India International  Bombay-London was its first international destination. But now things take a deep dive downward as then the government of India took control of Air India from the Tatas. Then upon seeing how the tatas managed the airline the government then decided to sell the airline back to the Tatas in 1953 for another twenty-five years.
