Almost hijacked Ethiopian airlines flight 246 (fictional story)

It was a dark and rainy night in the city of Nairobi, me and my friends were going to Dubai. At 2:00AM in Kenya we left for Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. We arrived at the check in for Ethiopian airlines and went straight to security checkpoint.

Our gate was A2, and we saw our Boeing 737 max 9 parked at the spot. Then the boarding call came on and the air hostess checked our tickets and we got on our bus to the aircraft. We then arrived at the side of the airplane, and we boarded the cabin.

20 minutes after takeoff the flight attendants started serving breakfast. Everything was normal as we flew over the Indian ocean. After 2 hours there was turbulence, it was still 3 hours till landing. Suddenly the seatbelt sign came up and the plane started shaking more violently as bags fell out of the overhead bins. Finally, the shaking stopped, and people were getting up to put their bags in the overhead bins. Once everyone was seated something started happening.

Some people just got up and started running towards the cockpit, they started banging on the door shouting "OPEN THIS DOOR NOW!". Then one of the people pointed a gun at all of us and said, "HANDS IN THE AIR" and we all put our hands in the air. We were being hijacked.

Suddenly I got an idea, I told my friends what my idea was, and they said sure let's do it. I called the air hostess and told her my plan she the whispered it to some people next to me and told them my plan.

She then called one of the hijackers to the back of the plane as he was walking down the aisles one of the passengers put his foot out and tripped him, he fell to the ground and some passengers quickly got up and held him down he tried to get his gun, but another passenger took it and threw it into an overhead bin. The rest of the hijackers ran to help him but tripped and me and my friends as well as other passengers held them down.

The pilot made and announcement that they were going to make an emergency landing at Sanaa airport Yemen, and the seat belt sign flickered on. But then in the cockpit the fuel low warning light came on and the pilot decided to crash land in a rice field near the airport so that when the plane crashed rescue teams could come quickly. The pilot announced that they will be crashing in a field due to the fuel low warning.

The plane slowly descends, but then the master caution warning comes on and the air hostess tell the passengers to brace. The plane misses the field and instead crashes into a highway breaking up into 2 parts. Luckily all the passengers on the flight were alive. Rescue teams came to the spot along with the police and arrested the hijackers. The pilots and crew, including me and my friends as well as some of the other passengers, were awarded medals.
