Japan Airlines flight 123

August 12, 1985, Japan airlines flight 123 is departing to Osaka airport from Tokyo airport. There are a total of 509 passengers and 15 crew. The plane is a Boeing 747sr-46. The captain is Masami Takhama, first officer is Yutaka Sasaki and flight engineer is Hiroshi Fukuda. The plane fueled up and took off.  As the plane leaves Tokyo, people settle down for the 90-minute flight. 23 minutes pass everything is going smoothly, just then the plane becomes depressurized. The tail ripped out, as air rushes the oxygen masks drop down. Everyone put their mask on. In the cockpit the pilots struggle to control the plane.  The plane first goes up, then it goes into a deep dive. The copilot tells the pilot to turn to a nearby airport, but the captain says that they can turn back to Tokyo. When they turn the plane goes out of control. The captain says lower the landing gear but when they do the plane banks right then left. The plane is heading for mount  Takamagahara. The planes left the wing scrap
